Julie Bass Kaplan is a double board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC),Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) and Facial Anatomist who began herMedical Aesthetics career in 1999.

Julie has a special interest in teaching safe injection techniques. She is faculty forPalette Resources, Allergan & Galderma. Julie is a published author for severalmedical journal articles and loves to speak internationally. She has a privatePatreon community, Jubilant Julie, where she enjoys mentoring injectors of alllevels. Julie founded Disappearing Act Aesthetic Medicine in Redding California &Ashland, Oregon. She also holds intimate, monthly facial anatomy and ultrasoundworkshops encouraging her attendees to Inject, Dissect & Connect. Jubilant Head& Breakfast Anatomy Workshops are intensive and fully accredited with 20 hoursof CME for 12 providers located at her training center in Ashland, Oregon.

Dr. Julie Ann Woodward is the chief of oculofacial and reconstructive surgery service at Duke University Medical Center. She is a professor of ophthalmology and an associate professor of dermatology. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS), and Women in Ophthalmology (WIO). She delivered keynote presentations for conferences in South America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East as well as various domestic conferences. In December of 2010, she was profiled on the front cover of Plastic Surgery Practice Magazine for her work of teaching in an academic practice. She has also been quoted in a variety of fashion magazines including Vogue, Self, Fitness, Allure, and Cosmopolitan. She enjoys teaching by injecting neuromodulators and facial fillers during live demonstrations that she has performed in several US and international cities. The editorial boards of 3 aesthetic journals have included her as a member in light of her expertise. Her special interests are in periocular rejuvenation with lasers and injectable neuromodulators and facial fillers.

During her early years she sold several pieces of art including those at a gallery show that sold out. She views her work with injectables as an extension of her love to create art.

In spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, cat, dog, bunny, and 13 birds.

Candice Dery, the dedicated founder of Aesthetic Imaging Ultrasound, is a leading expert in the field of registered diagnostic medical sonography, specializing in facial mapping ultrasound. Serving from the vibrant location of Portland, Oregon, Candice's practice utilizes high-resolution ultrasound technology with Doppler interrogation to precisely map and evaluate facial arteries, veins, and other natural structures, providing an insightful visualization of individual patient anatomy.

Registered Nurse, Bri Collins utilizes her experience and extensive training in leading her team to be some of the best in the industry for natural and believable injectable services.

After injecting in the industry for many years, Bri launched BCRN Aesthetics to focus primarily on cosmetic injectables, advanced skincare specialties and non-invasive procedures under the medical supervision of Dr. Young Cho, owner of Integrated Aesthetics.

Kevin Harrington, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C, is a global thought leader in advancing the education of medical aesthetic practitioners, a consultant and trainer for leading industry brands, and the owner of Face-Time Aesthetics, where he provides injectables, skincare, and laser services, while also serving as a faculty trainer for Allergan and Galderma with over 20 years in aesthetics, 35 years in business, and experience in clinical research and industry leadership.

Dr. Janell Ocampo is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Belle Vie Wellness & Medical Aesthetics. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University and Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner at California State University, Long Beach. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Touro University Nevada. Prior to entering the field of nursing, she was a RDMS certified sonographer. She has merged her two careers and now performs ultrasound to improve the safety of filler injections.

Janell has over 18 years experience working in medical aesthetics with advanced skills and certification in injectable facial rejuvenation. In 2019, she was selected to become an Allergan Medical Institute Trainer and Speaker for Facial Aesthetics. In 2021 she joined Vitality institute and became a ViPeel trainer to advocate for Tox-booster treatments. And in 2023, she was selected to join the Gain faculty with Galderma. She thoroughly enjoys building confidence in others through training by advancing their clinical injection skills.

Janell is married and has 4 beautiful daughters. Her oldest daughter, Jasmin Carrasco, is also a nurse practitioner and works at Belle Vie in Costa Mesa.

Licensed in 38 states, Heather is a top Galderma Gen Now speaker and trainer, a speaker and trainer for Allergan Medical Institute and faculty for Aesthetic Consulting and Training in Hickory, NC. She has sat on numerous advisory boards for Galderma and Allergan. She has presented on stage at some of the most respected conferences including AMSPA and Aesthetic Next.

Trevor is an elite injector of Tru Beauty By Trevor, a luxury cosmetic injectables practice and Med Spa. Trevor has a decade of experience working with injectables, first being PALETTE® trained and certified in 2011. His many online reviews are glowing, and patients praise his bedside manner, attention to detail and his love and care for each and every single person that walk through the doors. Trevor truly loves what he does and is passionate about the art and science of injectables. His motto is that the experience is as important as the outcome –  we put just as much focus on making our patients feel good as we do on looking good, both on the inside and the outside.

Trevor was born in Southern Utah and grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He earned his Registered Nursing degree in Sioux Falls and has worked in the medical field for 15 years in Trauma and Emergency Room medicine, Flight Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Operating Room and Recovery, ICU/Pulmonary medicine, and now exclusively as a cosmetic injector for the past 4 years.

He moved to Las Vegas in 2011 and has been a proud Nevada resident ever since!

When he is not in office seeing patients, he spends his time with his four beautiful children and his amazing family.

Bella, his late wife, was the Managing Partner and Director of Marketing for Tru Beauty By Trevor until she unexpectedly passed in March of 2022. Trevor and Bella’s dream was to give love, compassion, and connection, which served as the foundation of the work they did together each day. Trevor continues to cherish and build this dream they always desired for his family.

Julie Horne is a registered nurse from Oslo, Norway and has over 13 years of experience in her field. She has a long career within cardiac surgery for children and adults. Today Julie is based at one of Norway’s most successful cosmetic clinics, where she performs all indications within fillers and neurotoxins. Additionally she is the owner of Julie Horne Academy where she trains aesthetic doctors and nurses who travels from all around the world to attend her worldwide known “Lip Masterclass.”

Dr. Gideon Kwok is Co-owner and Medical Director to eight Skin Perfect Medical Clinics in Southern California. His clinics are in the top 1% of US clinics in several areas: Coolsculpting, Ulthera, and the Galderma injectable portfolio of products.

Dr. Kwok began working in the field of aesthetic medicine during his second year of Family Medicine Residency at UCLA. His passion for the field of aesthetic medicine started as a personal project to help his circle of friends with their skin issues. He finds satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment seeing the confidence that his patients exude post treatment. That drive and desire to help others is what keeps him at the forefront of the newest technologies and treatments.

During his 17 years in the industry, Dr. Kwok discovered his passion for training and education, becoming a national speaker and trainer. He is a national trainer for GAIN (Galderma), Cutera, Bioform (Radiesse), Merz, as well as a faculty member and trainer for MINT threads.

The Aesthetic Immersion was created by Dr. Kwok and Lori Robertson, MSN FNP-C to help improve the industry treatment for standards and safety. The field of aesthetic medicine is constantly evolving with new information, techniques, and treatments released on a regular basis. The duo had a vision to create an educational platform that set standards of care, fostered a sense of community, and shared knowledge amongst providers and students.

Lori Robertson, MSN, FNP-C has a diverse set of experiences and skill sets. She spent 19 years on ABC-TV as both an actress and Medical Advisor to famed soap opera, General Hospital. She’s also spent time as a Deputy Sheriff specializing in mountain rescue and underwater dive recovery.  She’s best known, however, for her 15 years in medical aesthetics where she is national faculty for Allergan and Galderma, including GENNow, as well as faculty at industry congresses throughout the US.

Lori has won countless awards including National Aesthetic Nurse of the Year in 2012. She has a large Instagram following which has given her a global platform to educate providers on safe and effective injection techniques.
